Shanxi Lyuliang Arbitration Commission and Africa International Arbitration Center Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Recently, Shanxi Lyuliang Arbitration Commission and International Arbitration Center for Africa (IACG) held a signing ceremony and signed a memorandum of cooperation in Lyuliang City. The Political Counselor of Malawi Embassy in China, Fredrick Malire, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. Ren Zhong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee of Lyuliang and Executive Vice Mayor of Lyuliang, witnessed the signing. The two sides reached intentions for cooperation  in the training of foreign-related legal personnel, arbitration cooperation, academic exchanges and training. Fredrick Malire said that Africa and China have a long history and culture, and have engaged in friendly economic and trade and cultural exchanges. This cooperation will provide important support for Chinese enterprises to invest in overseas as well as trade exchanges, and will also effectively resolve disputes arising from various business activities of overseas investors, which is of great significance for the high-quality construction of "the Belt and Road", the realization of common prosperity and the improvement of people's living standards.

It is reported that the African International Arbitration Center (AIAC) is an international arbitration authority approved by the Government of the Republic of Malawi, on May 11, 2023,  under the strong impetus of the governments of China and Malawi, aiming at providing comprehensive and all-rounded legal services and protection of rights and interests for the Chinese-funded enterprises along the " the Belt Road". The main regions of operation are 50 countries in Africa, and the business range covers more than 170 countries worldwide.
